Rev. Mariano Salguero announces the holding of regular worship services within the Christian tradition unit in the city of Buenos Aires. Services are held at the Lutheran Community Church the center of the city.

The Unitarian Church of Buenos Aires is defined as "a religious community, guided by faith and reason", and proclaims the following principles:

* The presence of God manifested in many ways, hence, the Religion should promote a free search for truth, fellowship and love.

* The reason is a gift from God, and so religion must be based on reason.

* Free will is a constituent of human nature, religion must help find a way to exercise that gift responsibly.

* proclaim humility, tolerance and freedom of conscience for everyone.

* The revelation is permanent, religion should be based not only on their own tradition but also in other religious traditions, philosophies and arts.

* The works of mercy and compassion should be part of every authentic religious experience.

Unitarian Universalist seminary campus sells


The seminar Meadville-Lombard in Chicago, which traditionally has provided theological education and pastoral ministry applicants Unitarian-Universalist has announced it is selling its campus in Chicago, including all buildings and facilities.

also announced it is talking to the seminar Andover-Newton, Massachusetts, with a view to possible collaboration or integration of both institutions.

According to the board of the seminar, the sale of the Chicago campus of the school will provide greater financial flexibility with a view to possible collaboration with other seminars, fund the launch of a new school and will overcome the difficulties of keeping existing facilities.

The current economic crisis, along with the ever-increasing costs higher education, is forcing many U.S. seminaries to look for ways of cooperation to enable them to share costs. According to the Reverend. Dr. Daniel O. Aleshire, executive director of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), "This recession has severely affected the seminars because many of their budgets are based on donations."
